Does it take Faith to completely trust God? Yes

Did He promise that the journey would be free of ups and downs? No
Can't I trust Him to keep me safe through the billows? Yes
It takes a man dead to himself (analysis, principles, ruts...) and alive in God to blindly follow Him and trust that this One Captain would steer me safely through the storm of life to "that destination" even if I don't know where exactly it is, how or when I will get there.
