Analogy of a parasite and the host by Ejike E.O

A parasitic relationship is one in which one organism, the parasite lives off another  organism, the host; harming it and possibly causing death.
The parasite lives in or on the host.
Usually, although parasites harm their hosts, it is in the best interest of the parasite not to kill the host because it relies on the host's body and body functions such as digestion, or blood circulation to live.
OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST IS SIMILAR
✓Jesus does not have a physical body any longer just like a parasite so He lives off us (We are the body of Christ; Romans 12:5).
✓The parasites feed on their hosts.
Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of the Lord that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable into the Lord which is your reasonable service". The greatest service the host can render to the parasite is to offer his body for the parasite to live in or on. In effect, every host is a sacrifice to it's predator just as we are to Christ.
✓Though the parasites usually subject it's host to hard times, it doesn't always allow the host to die.. Relatively, though we may be faced by diverse kinds of terrible situation, it's not unto death. John 12:4, ".....this sickness is not unto death..."
✓If we say Jesus lives, we are the Ones He lives in and through. He inhabits us like a parasite does.
1Corin 6:15 "know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ"
So when we say we are the body of Christ, it does not just mean the church; but that Christ sees, hears, feels, heals, breathes, moves, acts, and does every other thing here in earth through us as individuals.
We are of no use to God dead.
